Recensione : Black Pearls Molti vedono Eric Sardinas solamente come un tamarro dai pantaloni a zampa d'elefante che si atteggia a belloccio della situazione, io penso invece che la sua musica meriti piu' rispetto ed attenzione. Quello di "Black Pearls" e' senza dubbio un rock-blues suonato con il cuore e con l'anima, senza strizzate d'occhio alle mode o al marketing, dove a farla da protagonista e' ovviamente la la chitarra resofonica (dobro) del nostro supportata dai soli basso e batteria, nella tipica tradizione dei leggendari power-trio del passato.Tra scintillanti assoli slide, accenti southern e registrazione analogica, con "Black Pearls" Sardinas ci regala un disco dall'inevitabile sapore "vintage", che nonostante qualche riempitivo in coda al lavoro, vale sicuramente la pena di possedere.
